Wisconsin court lets Microsoft class action suit proceed
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has reinstated a class action suit against Microsoft that, like pretty much all of the other similar suits across the country, alleges anticompetitive conduct.
In a decision published on July 13, the court overturned a trial judge and sent back the case for a full trial.
The court stressed it wasn't reaching any conclusion about who should win the case, and in fact the decision was based on a hairy area of how state law related to the U.S. Constitution and interstate commerce.
