Images of what are believed to be Nokia's next Windows Phone 8-based devices have leaked onto the Web.

Earlier today, Twitter user "Evleaks" posted a photo, claiming that it is the 4.5-inch Nokia Lumia 920 with PureView. The image shows three Lumia 920s -- one in gray, another in yellow, and the last in red -- that have three buttons underneath the display. They appear to be running Windows Phone.

The mention of PureView relates to a camera technology Nokia is expected to bundle in its Windows Phone 8 devices. PureView can capture up to 41 megapixels of digital information.

Not to be outdone, Evleaks also posted an image of a Lumia 820 boasting a 4.3-inch screen. Once again, the person failed to provide further details on the device.

The Lumia 820 and 920 could be what we'll see unveiled at Nokia's press event next week in New York City. Earlier this week, Nokia teased the event in a video showing a woman riding a bike down a street. About midway through that clip, a text overlay comes up that reads: "Things are about to change." The video's description on YouTube adds a bit more details, saying that the change is coming "5 September 2012. Stay tuned!"

CNET has contacted Nokia for comment on the leaks. We will update this story when we have more information.

Updated at 9:50 a.m. PT: to include the tweet and image of the 920.
