What makes a good laptop bag?
For me, it's one with:
- A padded sleeve to protect your electronics from impact
- Lots of pockets to organize cables and cords
- An ergonomic carrying method so you don't warp or strain your shoulders and back when hauling your gear around
And if if I can pick my own colors and materials, that's even better.
To that end, a number of companies let you design your own custom bags, like Chrome, Rickshaw Bags and Timbuk2. I went to Timbuk2's San Francisco factory to see how a bag I designed online turned into something I can sling over my shoulder.
Make that your shoulder. Because you can win it! Visit CNET Crave on Friday, February 12 for a chance to win the classic messenger bag I designed (US residents only).
