Even superheroes need help finding the right sidekick. Nerdist

It's not easy to find the perfect pal to team up with when fighting crime or causing mayhem. Both superheroes and super villains have a hard enough time with busy schedules and secret identities to search for sidekicks on their own.

In the Nerdist Presents parody video "Duo," we see famous comic book character pairings like Batman and Robin, Captain America and Bucky Barnes, and Green Arrow and the Flash explain how the fictitious app helped them find the partner that best met their needs.

"It's hard to connect with someone special in this modern world," Duo's founder Dr. Hank Tannen (played by Wil Wheaton) says. "Duo's one of a kind personality matrix is guaranteed to match you with your ideal sidekick to create a lasting partnership. There's no other matching app that caters to the superheroic world like we do."

The Duo app isn't just for superheroes. Han Solo and Chewbacca reveal in their testimonial how Duo helped them become buddies. And villains like the Joker and Harley Quinn reveal that Duo brought them together as a couple.

Written by Ben Mekler and directed by Andrew Bowser, "Duo" stars Wil Wheaton, Clare Grant, Dan Casey, Kyle Hill, Matt Grosinger, Michael W. Shaw, Chris Robinson, Hampton Yount, Victoria Schmidt, Paul Welsh, Ben Rodgers, Scott Allen and Michael Maxwell.
