A News.com reader writes that jealousy can make people--and companies--very unreasonable at times. Netscape did itself in with it.

You brought lots of points to the surface I have never really seen. Jealousy can make people--and companies--very unreasonable at times. Netscape did itself in with it. It seemed more obsessed with suing Gates than making a good product. I lost interest in Netscape after Version 4.5. As a matter of fact, it is still the version I would use, if Internet Explorer weren't so much better now. Robert Egloff
