Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2004 will grab the limelight in the coming week, as notable tech executives gather for the four-day affair.

Bill Gates, Microsoft chairman, and David Dorman, AT&T chief executive, will be in the lineup of speakers at the confab. The symposium is one of several events lined up for the coming week, which is quiet on the earnings and economic front.
