Marc Evan is a Maniac. Or, more accurately, he's one of the artists behind Maniac Pumpkin Carvers, an art studio that specializes in elaborate pumpkin art.

On Thursday, GoPro released a time-lapse video of Evan carving an elaborate, beautiful pumpkin with footage captured from a GoPro wearable camera. The video gives you both Evan's and the pumpkin's perspective as Evan intricately carves the profile of a woman into the face of the pumpkin. The idea for the pumpkin was inspired by the work of artist Tara McPherson, and the end result is truly remarkable.

You can check out the video of Evan in action at the top of this post. If you dig looking at carved pumpkins, we highly encourage you to head over to the Maniac Pumpkin Carvers website to see their gallery of work.
