Gunslinger is, believe or not, the fourth Call of Juarez game, and it's a pretty good palate cleanser after its less-than-stellar predecessor, The Cartel.

As the launch trailer shows, Gunslinger takes the franchise back to the Wild West, where retired bounty hunter Silas Greaves relates his less-than-accurate adventures to a dubious audience.

With gun fighting, bullet-time slow-motion cameos from nearly every famous cowboy in history and, of course, a lot of shooting people in the face — there's a lot of action happening here.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is out today for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, all via digital download. It'll set you back 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox, AU$21.95 on PSN or AU$17.95 on PC.
