Are you giddy about gadgets? Up to the second on the latest cell phones, televisions, laptops, gaming devices, cameras, headphones, wearable technology, DIY gear, and weird robots? Crave, CNET's gadget blog, is seeking a handful of freelance writers to pen timely, colorful stories about consumer electronics, from the mainstream to the offbeat. While we'll emphasize mobile coverage, we're looking for enterprising writers who are well-versed in a range of technology-related topics and can regularly come up with creative ideas for original content.

You should be an experienced professional writer able to produce authoritative and engaging news, feature, and opinion stories--often on tight daily deadline. You must be able to write clean, high-quality prose carefully checked for accuracy. Photography and video-shooting skills a plus. Compensation will be monthly, with added bonuses corresponding to traffic.
