VST warns against using their G3 Series Charger for Bronze G3s

Janet Ball was having a problem charging a battery for a PowerBook G3 (bronze keyboard) using VST's G3 Series Charger. VST replied:

"There is a known problem with the Apple batteries. It is a charging issue, sometimes it is to the point where the batteries can not be charged at all. The solution right now, is to discontinue use of the charger (temporarily of course!) until Apple and VST can find a solution to the problem. What I would suggest is that you only use the batteries in the PowerBook and charge them in the PowerBook. When you charge them, do it fully, then use it until fully discharged."
