Vodafone reveals unlimited iPad data plan

Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) today announced data plans specific to the Apple iPad, in time for the tablet's Australian release on Friday, including a Vodafone-only unlimited prepaid option.

Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) today announced data plans specific to the Apple iPad, in time for the tablet's Australian release on Friday, including a Vodafone-only unlimited prepaid option.

Vodafone's six- and 12-month plans include 1GB of data for AU$14.95 per month. The unlimited option will cost AU$49.95 per month and will need to be recharged every 30 days.

Vodafone's sister company, 3 Mobile, will also offer iPad prepaid micro-SIMs, though the options available for 3 customers are considerably slimmer as there will only be three monthly options and one plan with a year-long expiry.
