Vodafone has announced a number of data plans for both the Air and the iPad mini with Retina display when it launches later in November. All plans are based on a 24-month contract, and obviously, all models on offer will be the "Wi-Fi + Cellular" versions.

The three plans are AU$20 for 2.5GB, AU$30 for 4GB and AU$45 for 8GB.

With device repayments included, the 16GB iPad Air would cost AU$49 per month on the 2.5GB plan, AU$52 on the 4GB and up to AU$67 for the 8GB.

On the top end of the scale, the 128GB iPad Air would cost AU$61 per month on 2.5GB, AU$68 for 4GB and AU$83 for 8GB.

When the Retina mini launches, it will be available from AU$45 a month on the basic 2.5GB plan.

Vodafone will have a full list of pricing across the iPad models and data plans on its website when the devices are available in retail.
