Oi you, with the blonde dreadlocks and the funny smell. Yeah, you with the rainbow-coloured campervan. Sony's just invented a new environmentally friendly netbook known as the W series Eco edition, and it wants you to give it pride of place in your futuristic, utopian dream world.

Get a load of this -- it uses Intel's power-efficient Atom N450 CPU and is made of nearly 80 per cent recycled plastic. It doesn't end there, either -- its 10-inch screen is free of poisonous mercury, it ships in a recycled carry case instead of a cardboard box and its paper manuals have been replaced by electronic ones.

Take a look at it for yourself in our early video view by hitting the play button. When you're done, make sure to check back later for a full review.
