Video reviews round-up: Let's not go to the movies

It's more just than fedoras and Manolos here at Crave, with some on-screen heavyweights in our latest video reviews round-up

While the world's cinema buffs are abuzz about Indy and Carrie, it's more just than fedoras and Manolos here at Crave. Our video reviews have mobiles with spirit, bridge camera heavyweights and TVs with bezels that envy Dita von Teese's waistline.

We weren't exactly feeling the touch-sensitive love for LG's KF600 navigation pad, but in the Samsung Soul U900 video review, we think this handset gets it right. An attractively solid slider, it also beefs up on features like HSDPA and a 5-megapixel camera.

If you're looking for a TV with less meat on its bones, take a taste of the Toshiba Regza 40ZF355D video review. The lean, mean bezel on this 1080p LCD TV will help it squeeze into smaller spaces and make other panels look downright chunky. Add in excellent picture quality and performance and the Tosh is sitting pretty.

Tipping the scales with a giant 14.3x zoom lens, the Fujifilm FinePix S100FS video review shows how this snapper blurs the line between dSLR and bridge cameras. With 11 megapixels and excellent raw performance, the S100FS is also packed with a wealth of shooting options -- including one that mimics film for those of you sticking to old school photography.

At least for today, forget about your action heros and sky-high heels and spend your screen time with some realistic gadgets. -Shannon Doubleday
