Video reviews round-up: Everyone knows it's Windy

Keeping cool in Crave Towers has never been a problem, whatever the season, but this week, the wind blowing around isn't from the air conditioner

Keeping cool in Crave Towers has never been a problem, whatever the season. This week, a cool wind's been blowing around our video reviews and for once, it's not the air conditioner.

We had the world exclusive on the MSI Wind video review last week, and the initial storm of excitement never calmed. We think this is a fabulous mini laptop, and with the mini laptop market hotting up, it could even be a real Eee killler.

We compare the MSI Wind to another attractive mini laptop in the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC video review. We found this 8.9-inch PC rather desirable, especially in the ease-of-use department.

Getting a little less mini, the Apple iMac (2008 Edition) video review is still as compact and stress-free as ever, and this iteration sees it upgraded with the latest Intel 'Penryn' CPUs. Its unchanged, classic design and excellent all-in-one performance always touches our soft spots.

It's not all computer fun and games this week. We saw it at Mobile World Congress and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 video review shows that this first Windows Mobile effort from SE could be a great edition to its smart phone portfolio.

If you look carefully, you'll catch a glimpse of the super-skinny JVC LT-42DS9 video review. The slim styling on this 42-incher means it'll shimmy into any corner of your living room and look lovely.

That's all for now; we're feeling rather winded. -Shannon Doubleday
