The HTC One could be one step closer to reaching Verizon subscribers.

The carrier now has a page where potential buyers can sign up to get the latest information about HTC's flagship phone. The page doesn't indicate an exact date of when the phone will be available -- only that it will be available "later this summer," which is consistent with reports in early June . Assuming that promise still holds, the phone would have to appear in Verizon's lineup sometime within the next few weeks.

Verizon's competitors -- namely AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile -- have offered the HTC One since April.
