Venture capitalist Vinod Khosla is stepping down from the board of directors of Juniper Networks. Khosla, a general partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, which served as an early investor in Juniper, is leaving his board post effective Thursday. Khosla will forego re-election to the board to make room for a NetScreen Technologies designee, according to Juniper's filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday. Juniper, which makes networking equipment such as routers, announced plans to acquire NetScreen in February.
