OtherMenu 2.0 is out. OtherMenu creates a system-wide hierarchical menu somewhat like the Apple menu. Compatible with System 7 through 8.1. Version 2.0 adds the ability to display icons in the menu, when used under Mac OS 8.

DataViz 9.7.1 is out. It adds support for two more formats: Corel WordPerfect 8 (Windows 95) and Corel Quattro Pro 8 (Windows 95).

Toast 3.5.3 Update Released last month, the 3.5.3 patch and driver for Adaptec's Toast has support for new recorders, fixes a bug which could result in invalid discs being written with the Teac CD-R50S drive, and works with System 7.0 and higher, including OS 8. (Thanks, Simon Cousins.)

FreePPP 2.6.2 Final Candidate 1 release is now available. "This is the first final candidate release of FreePPP 2.6.2. No new features will be added prior to the actual release of 2.6.2 . The FC1 build is set to expire February 28, 1998. This build fixes the crashing problem when changing the Open Transport TCP/IP configuration on 68K machines."
