MacSlack, a utility for calculating HFS savings, is up to version 1.0.2
Retrieve It! will soon be coming out with new version that fixes an HFS incompatibility.
New Netscape date Kurt Kroeger notes that the copies of Netscape Communicator/Navigator now on Netscape's ftp sites have a new "January 30" date.
Update: Steve Dagley replies: "The reason for the new dates on the ftp directories is that the 4.04 .hqx files were removed, leaving just the 4.04.1 .bin files. The missing base install of the PPC version was also pushed to the servers."
Update: PPP Menu 2.5 pre-release A pre-release version of PPP Menu 2.5 is now available. However, Rockstar recommends that most people hold off using it (as there may still be further bug fixing before it is officially out). Expect it to be really released next week when FreePPP 2.6.2 also arrives.
