Utilities Updates: StuffIt Expander 10.1; Adobe Flash Player (PowerPC-only) 1.5; File Buddy 9.0b7; more

StuffIt Expander 10.1: expands downloaded files. The new release addresses an issue where when the destination preference was set to "Ask" and Expander was not running, where double-clicking a compressed or encoded file to launch StuffIt Expander, then choosing a Destination location from the pop-up menu that appears at the top of the Save dialog would cause Expander to exit.

Adobe Flash Player (PowerPC-only) 1.5: PowerPC only final release of version 8.5. A beta version of Flash 8.0 is available for Intel-based Macs.

File Buddy 9.0b7: extensive desktop, file/folder editing and task tool. The new release reduces the delay in opening contextual menus in the Finder. In particular, the long delay when opening a menu for a large number of image files has been eliminated.

Pukka 1.0: multi-account del.icio.us posting client.

iShrink 1.0: can compress and decompress files and folders to or from a number of formats -- DOSLatin, Stuffit, Zipit or Unicode.

FirstClass Client 8.101: for their email, groupware, intranet system.

Connect360 2.2: iTunes and iPhoto libraries on your Xbox 360. The new release updates iTunes play counts and play dates (optionally) and adds an option to show only checked songs.

Password Retriever 5.2.3: 448-bit secure database for passwords and more. The new release has an auto-fill (Keychain Synchronization) feature added for Safari web forms.
