Utilities Updates: SoftRAID 3.5.1; BetterZip 1.2.1; Bookdog 3.8; PC-Mac-Net FileShare Lite 6.1; more

SoftRAID 3.5.1: RAID solution that supports Stripe and Mirror (RAID levels 0 and 1) volumes on any combination of FireWire, ATA, SCSI, USB and Fibre Channel drives. The new release fixes a bug involving APM formatted USB drives on Intel Macs. Version 3.5.1 follows on the heels of the highly successful version 3.5, SoftRAID's Universal Binary solution for Intel and PowerPC Macs. Data stored in SoftRAID volumes can migrate seamlessly between Power PC and Intel Macs.

BetterZip 1.2.1: archiving and compression tool: zip, tar, gzip, bzip2, rar, 7-zip, cpio. In this release, GZip and BZip2 compressed tar archives now support setting the compression level.

Bookdog 3.8: sort, manage, migrate and verify bookmarks. For the new release, in each Main Window, a new preference Browser can be used when Visiting bookmarks allowing the user to select the bookmark's owner, or the user's default browser, instead of always using Safari. 

PC-Mac-Net FileShare Lite 6.1: cross-platform file sharing and more. The new release offers incremental backup to local hard disk, incremental backup over LAN or Internet to one or more destination computers (thus providing on and offsite redundancy), up to 256-bit AES encryption of remotely stored backup files, email notification of backup plan execution, and pre-backup and post-backup script support.

iFind 4.0: Internet search utility. The new release has an interface update.

VisualHub 1.1: easily convert video to dvd, ipod, psp, tivo, avi, wmv, flv and back. The new release has conversion directly from VIDEO_TS folders.
