Utilities Updates: Snitch; AppleWorks; SmartWrap; more

Snitch 2.6.4is out. This is the Mac OS 9 compatible version.

AppleWorks 5.0.4 Updater is now online. "AppleWorks 5.0.4 is a maintenance release that addresses a Mac OS 9 compatibility problem in the 5.0.3 release. Computers with earlier versions of Mac OS are not affected by this problem and cannot use this update. Only the AppleWorks application is updated; all other AppleWorks files are unchanged." The Updater is included on the Mac OS 9 CD. [Note: we had previously mentioned this Updater in Troubleshooting Mac OS 9.]

SmartWrap 1.5 has been released. They added to the SmartWrap algorithm the ability to handle "sparse paragraphs" (paragraphs with lots of white space.) They also added the ability to force a hard-wrap of text to 72 characters per line, and requote paragraphs correctly with '>' characters.

Y2K Checker 1.0 is out. It checks your software for Y2K compliance.

MacTuner 2.1.1 is a maintenance release. It fixes problems playing certain stations and receiving certain data feeds. Coincides with major station database release, which adds over 200 live audio stations and fixes numerous broken links.

IPNetRouter 1.4.33 "works with Mac OS 9 in most cases, but we are still resolving some unexpected conflicts."

OT Advanced Tuner 1.3.1 is now available.
