Utilities Updates: PowerMenu, File Buddy; Graphic Converter; StuffIt Expander and more

PowerMenu v2.2.2has been released. The new version provides the specific icon for each item on the Quick Access popup menu under MacOS 8.5 (icons are still generic under earlier releases of the MacOS). AppleEvents no longer time out when cutting & pasting very large files in the Finder. Some memory management improvements are also included.

File Buddy 5.0.1has been released.

Graphic Converter 3.5.1 is out.

StuffIt Expander 5.0.2 is out. A new DropStuff should be out soon.

Unstuff problem? On a related note, Desmond Foulger writes: "Since upgrading to StuffIt 5.0.2, files compressed with Compact Pro 1.5 do not unstuff correctly. I get a message that says an incorrect file length was encountered. This did not happen with 5.0 or 5.01."

KeyQuencer 2.5.5 is now available. It makes KeyQuencer fully compatible with Mac OS 8.5 and 8.5.1. It also fixes bugs with the UsePrinter, Application, and AEDoScript commands.

Document Express 2.0 has been released. It is "an automated and easy-to-use contact management system geared at obtaining customer and contact information directly from the Internet. Document Express features include auto-reply e-mail, customized e-mail acknowledgments, customized broadcast messaging, and customized broadcast fax using FAXstf's 5.0 software."

The beta of Virex is now up to version 5.91b2.

OSA Menu 1.2b10 is available.

Address Book 4.0.4 is out.

G3 Strip 1.6 is out.

Bookmark Booster US-1.5.1 is out. It has many updated links.
