MouseWorks 5.6 is the latest version of the drivers for Kensington's mice and trackballs. Among other things, it claims to fix two previously cited conflicts involving Mac OS 9.1: (1) MouseWorks disables devices when Input Sprockets in use under OS 9.1; (2) MouseWorks caused "out of memory" error in Virtual PC 4.0 under OS 9.1.

Rick Zeman notes: The update fixed all of the issues with Kensington USB Shim and OS 9.1. Virtual PC 3 and 4 will now load, and SoundJam/iMusic both now will recognize a USB Rio 500."

Disk Drive TuneUp 3.0 is a disk formatting utility that "provides integrated use of the new UDF format for cross platform disk interchange for all types of block addressable storage devices. ("UDF" stands for "Universal Disk Format" and was originally specified for DVD).

Internet Security Barrier 1.0.1 is the latest version of this "total Internet security suite for the Macintosh. Composed of three powerful products, NetBarrier, VirusBarrier and ContentBarrier, this suite is the perfect solution to Internet security problems."

VirusBarrier 1.5.2 is the latest version of this anti-virus utility. The compatibility issue with ATM 4.6.1 has been fixed.

iOrganize 3.3 combines a NotePad, ContactPad and AliasPad. With the update, it is now possible to insert pictures within notes by using copy/paste commands. Other new features and bug fixes are also included.

Web Confidential 2.2/1.2 for Macintosh/Palm are out. With this update to this password manager software, you can import data from tab limited text files and encrypted password files are now binary cross platform with Web Confidential for Windows.

Be Found 2.5.1 is a web site promotion tool that is a combination of a search engine submission tool, a ranking checker, a link popularity checker, a META tag manager, a competitor checker and an FTP client. Version 2.5.1 fixes a bug with the search engine scripts that prevented 2.5 from working properly.

Tri-CATALOG 4.02 is the latest version of this tool to scan and catalog media.

OneApp Slide Show 5.6.7 is a slide show and presentation tool for multimedia files, QuickTime movies, sounds and images. The new version provides better error handling information for authors creating Standalone Presentation to Distribute on CD.

SilverFast SE 5.1.3 scanning software is available. SilverFast SE has been available for Epson and other brands of scanners. It now works with UMAX scanners as well.

ScheduleOnline Mac Sync 1.3b2 is the "only Web-calendar that allow Mac users, who have wanted to use such a solution, to sync their contact, calendar, and to do's to a Palm-based PDA."

GoBar 2.5 ships. GoBar 2.5 is an alternative application "launcher" utility, specifically designed for Palm OS-based devices, such as Palm Pilots, Handspring Visors, Sony Clie devices or other Palm OS handhelds.
