Utilities Updates: Macscript.com Library; SimpleImage; Package Tracker; LimeWire; more

Macscript.com Library 2.0 is a collection of 150 powerful functions written natively in AppleScript. This release includes over 40 new functions and support for Mac OS X 10.1.

SimpleImage 3.3.1 is an image/movie viewing and catalog application for most formats. This update adds new commands to make thumbnail icons, crop progressive JPEGs, and it fixes several bugs.

Package Tracker 3.6 is a tool to batch-oriented package shipment tracing utility for packages sent via major carriers. Changes in this release include a revised UPS plug-in that displays additional information, new fonts, Mac OS X interface improvements, and faster tracking; several bug fixes and customer-requested changes.

LimeWire 1.8c is the latest release of this Gnutella peer-to-peer file sharing client. No word on what's new.

QiPo 1.5.2 is out. This tool to create previews for movie files now has several new preferences, an option to move post-processed movies, Mac OS X tweaks, and more.

GrabbyWindow 1.0b4 is a filebrowser suspended above all applications, which substantially simplifies viewing, managing and the layout of files.

KDX 0.932 is a Hotline-like client/server system with strong encryption. Changes include additional drag and drop support, icon lists, additional preferences, speed improvements, and bug fixes.

EnterNet 1.22 is the latest release of this PPP over Ethernet client software with VPN support. No word on what has changed in this update.

Serial Number Saver 1.0 is a database to store passwords, log-ins, serial numbers, URL's and more. It features search, copy and paste, and password protection.

eMail Alert! 2.8.5 is a notification tool that simplifies e-mail management. This release improves IMAP support: rather than checking for the number of "recent" messages (which would often change as soon as the checker logged out) eMail Alert! now reports the number of unseen messages in the target mailbox.

Server Sentinel 2.1 is a server monitor tool that can generate a beeper signal or email message if an auto-check fails. It adds support for a Status Report Drop folder, plus cosmetic fixes, international characters in an email message.

FlightCheck Classic Collect 4.2.5 is a stand alone application that assists designers as well as service providers in preflighting all major DTP files such as QuarkXPress, Adobe's Illustrator, Photoshop and PDF, Macromedia's FreeHand, and Multi-Ad Creator. No word on what has changed in this update.

VueScan 7.2.10 is third-party scanner software for flatbed and film scanners. Changes in this update include support for the Minolta Scan Multi Pro, improved speed and accuracy with auto focus on SprintScan 120, SprintScan 4000 and ArtixScan 4000, improved calibration of SprintScan 120, and several bug fixes.

TARGA CinéWave 2.0 is a set of drivers for this video digitizer board. It adds the ability to choose the SD aspect ratio when downconverting from HD and Horizontal Adjust and SubCarrier Phase for enhanced Genlock support, and it improves performance in playing through gaps in Final Cut Pro SD and HD sequences.

Kensington MouseWorks 5.7 is the latest driver that supports all the ADB and USB versions of Kensington input devices. This is a bug fix release.
