MacHeadlines 1.8 is a scrolling news ticker for the Macintosh. It is now available in a free MacHeadlines Lite and a shareware MacHeadlines Pro version.

VSE Web Site Turbo 3.0.1 is a bug-fix update to this utility that strips unneeded data from web pages, resulting in size reductions averaging from 20 to 50 percent based on content. It also optimizes JPEG and GIF images.

A Better Finder Rename 2.5 is out. This new release of the Macintosh Finder enhancement utility expands the string manipulation capabilities of the tool with automatic file extension substitution.

Sleeper 3.2 public beta 5 is available. It includes support for Mac OS 9 and resolves several compatibility problems, including "insomnia" on Blue & White G3's, support for SoftRAID, and compatibility with SETI@home.

HTML Database Engine 2.0 has been released. "HTML Database Engine, in one only click, scans the folder you pick (and all the subfolders, if you specify), reads every HTML text file found, extracts the text between the Tags you specify, and makes an indexed Database with 2 main fields: Title and Body."

Launch Key 2.0 has been released. This new version supports unlimited numbers of customizable hot keys, multiple objects per key, auto-typing of text blocks, and more!
