FastFontMenu Patcher There is a problem with FastFontMenu 2.0 and some applications (so far, mostly standalone HyperCard stacks). To solve the problems, use FastFontMenu Patcher. It will disable FastFontMenu for applications which have problems with it. A revised version of FastFontMenu, that fixes the problem altogether, is expected soon.

Reaper 1.21 is the latest version of this utility that "allows you to control the heap allocation for applications that you may not otherwise adjust. Examples are CD-ROM applications, the Finder and background applications. It also features a RAM Charger like expansion of the heap of applications you choose." Extensis PhotoGraphics 1.0 is a new utility that puts your "favorite illustration and text tools right in Photoshop."

Yamaha CRW4416 firmware update 1.0f is out. It fixed a "problem so that the system will not freeze at the BIOS screen upon booting when using I/O DATA SC-UPCI or SCUWCPI SCSI cards.
