Utilities Updates 2: Default Folder; FastFontMenu; SETI@home

Default Folder 3.0.3 is available in both English and Japanese. Version 3.0.3 corrects some compatibility and performance problems, and adds compatibility with the pre-release versions of Mac OS 8.7 currently being sent to developers.

FastFontMenu 2.1 is out. It is a Control Panel which speeds up building the font menu within most applications. "FastFontMenu 2.1 can be used with multi-user and NetBooted systems and should be compatible with the next release of Mac OS." FastFontMenu 2.1 requires the Collection Manager, which is included with Mac OS 8.5 and later.

SETI@home1.06 is now available. It has "cleaned up some major problems found in version 1.05, which are listed in the known bugs page." [Also see previous MacFixIt item.]
