Utilities Updates

SmoothType 2.0 and Power Windows 2.0.2 are now available. SmoothType anti-aliases text on the screen, smoothing out the jagged edges of bitmap fonts using shades of gray. SmoothType 2.0 is now a control panel, letting you choose between higher quality and faster anti-aliasing and providing several other options. It also has several other fixes and speed improvements. Power Windows 2.0.2 is a maintenance release, fixing two problems with popup windows under Mac OS 8. I should also point out that the Power Windows translucent border dragging option looks great with the enhanced window borders provided by Kaleidoscope 2.0.
