AppleShare Client 3.8has been released. Check the Read Me file to find out what's new.

Pretty Scroll 2.0 is now available. The utility animates scrolling so you can follow the window and easily find the last point you viewed. The new version changes the user interface, is Appearance Manager (Mac OS 8) savvy, and allows you to exclude incompatible applications.

Extensions Strip 1.8 is out. It is a utility that "hosts control strip modules." The new version adds "icon themes, miniature modules, and extra compatibility with G3s and Mac OS 8.5."

Control Panels Strip 3.2 is out. It is a "control strip module that was originally designed to provide fast access to your Control Panels. Now it does much more. You can open, enable/disable, trash, or get info on items in your Control Panels, Extensions, Control Strip Modules, and Startup Items folders."

URL Extractor 1.0.1 is out. It fixes a bug in the 1.0 version (mentioned here last week) "which was causing a quit after startup under System 7."

TattleTech news John Mancino writes: "TattleTech is a utility that returns a profile of installed software and attached hardware comprising over 850 different fields of information. I am currently working on adding reports for Firewire and USB, expanding the SCSI/ATA device reporting, and adding a number of new managers." The current version is 2.5.9 and was released last March.
