Utilities Updates

A fully functional trial version of CD-ROM SpeedTools 3.9.3 (a universal SCSI CD-ROM driver and audio management software) is now available. The version is MacOS 8.5 compatible.

A preview release of MindExpander, a free application that automatically expands .sit, .sea, .bin and .hqx files, is now out. (I alluded to this last week, but wanted to clearly highlight this significant new product.)

MacDrive 98 version 3.0 is coming soon. It will support HFS Plus.

AliasMenu 2.0.3 is a control panel that adds customized menus to the menu bar. This update fixes some cosmetic bugs related to MacOS 8.5.

Power Windows 2.0.5 and SmoothType 2.1 are both just released.

Nu Sans font 8.5 is out. Nu Sans is a scalable version of Apple Computer's Espy Sans bitmap font.

Newer MAXpowr G3 1.3.6 is out.

Graphing Calculator 2.2 is now available. It is principally a bug fix release. The main new feature is the ability to explicitly set the domain in 2D. The x and y axes can be scaled independently. Check the FAQ for more details.
