Using the "@" symbol in account names: a work-around

One more follow-up on using the @ symbol in an email address username (see previous item): Barbara Passman offers this suggestion:

"I had that happen recently with a new email address. The trick, at least in Eudora is to use an ampersand (&) instead of the @ in the address. My new email account User ID was my name@domain-l.org But if I included the @ in the user name, Eudora creates a user name of <my name@domain-l.org@domain-l.org>. To fix this, go to the Personalities settings, type in the User ID as <my name&domain-l.org>."
