Universal Orlando opens real-life Springfield
Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, has expanded its The Simpsons ride to include a real-life version of Springfield, where you can visit with your favourite eateries.

Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, has expanded its The Simpsons ride to include a real-life version of Springfield, where you can visit with your favourite eateries.
Pop by Moe's Tavern for a quick pre-lunch Duff, perambulate on over to Krusty Burger for a big ol' ribwich — or, if you're feeling fancy, Luigi's for a slice of pizza, then swing by the Kwik-E-Mart for a few supplies. Visitors are now able to take their repast in truly cromulent style.
The theme park has recently added a sort of miniaturised Springfield as its The Simpsons-themed motion simulator ride, including a number of stand-alone shops and a Fast Food Boulevard containing a number of small eateries, theme park news site Inside the Magic has reported.
Stand-alone shops are Moe's Tavern, Krusty Burger, the Kwik-E-Mart and the Android Dungeon (which is just a facade, with a sign on the door stating the store is closed for "Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con"), while Fast Food Boulevard plays host to Cletus' Chicken Shack, where you can munch on chicken and waffles; Flaming Moe's for non-alcoholic cocktails; The Frying Dutchman for fried seafood; Luigi's, which disappointingly only serves pizza; and, for a healthy option, Lisa's Teahouse of Horror, which serves salads and sandwiches.
Apparently the park isn't finished yet, either; a Duff Brewery seems to be in the works, along with a Lard Lad doughnut store and a Jebediah Springfield statue, and a new octopus ride starring Kang and Kodos. However, it just won't be right until someone builds the Springfield Tire Fire.
