These days, no home theater setup is complete without some sort of media-streaming capability. Devices like these are mostly easy to set up and can play, share, and host content over a home network.

Our most recent review in the category is the Uebo M400 WiFi Media Player. It improves upon its M200 predecessor by adding Wi-Fi straight out of the box and it now has room for users to add up to a 2TB hard-disk drive.

The M400 played every file format we threw it at without missing a beat. So how does it stand up compared with our list of the best media-streaming devices ? Those who are confident DIY content gurus may see a lot of potential in the M400, but novices may need to look elsewhere. Regardless of your experience level, there's one thing the M400 and other streamers definitely need: some sort of QWERTY input remote control!
