Twitter will offer Star Wars fans an exclusive sneak peek this week of the soon-to-be released movie "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

Twitter said Tuesday it will stream unreleased footage of the movie produced by Disney/Lucasfilm and will host a Q&A to offer some behind-the-scenes dirt with the film's director Gareth Edwards and cast members moderated by People magazine deputy editor JD Heyman.

The live stream will start on Friday, December 2, at 10 a.m. PT from "a surprise location." Fans can watch it live on Twitter at RogueOne.twitter.com, in Twitter Moments, and via @StarWars and @people accounts, as well as on Twitter apps for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Xbox.

Fans can suggest questions during the interview by tweeting the hashtag #AskRogueOne. To automatically include Star Wars Twitter emoji on tweets, fans can use the hashtags: #RogueOne, #DeathStar, #StarWars and #StarWarsRogueOne.

The movie is set to debut December 16 and stars Felicity Jones and Diego Luna.
