Twitter's #Music app has broadened its horizons for the first time, launching on the on-demand music streaming service Spotify.
#Music for Spotify provides a way for you to discover songs through artists and songs trending on Twitter. The Spotify version lets you discover music within Spotify's catalog and take advantage of Spotify features like artist playlists and release alerts. It categorizes trending artists into options like "superstars," "popular" and "hunted" -- as well as traditional categories of music like "country" and "hip hop" -- which can be added to a Spotify playlist., Twitter
The app is available to paying and nonpaying subscribers alike.
The expansion to Spotify is the first time #Music has stretched its wings beyond its iOS and web launch in April.
