TurboTV sound conflict reported

A reader reports that TurboTV has a conflict that was confirmed by IXMICRO tech support: "It cannot work with Cubase VST. It seems that anything that needs to access the Apple Sound Manager will be preempted by TurboTV if TurboTV is launched first. If the other sound program is launched first, TurboTV will give an error stating that TurboTV was not installed properly."
