Troubleshooting the iSight: Conflict with Final Cut Pro, DV cameras in iSight

This apparently a conflict between some version of Final Cut Pro and the Apple iSight.

Generally, users experiencing this problem will be presented with a freeze in Final Cut Pro at the "Log and Capture" window when an iSight is attached.

In addition, iChat AV will hang in some instances if you have both a DV camera and the iSight connected and on while attempting to video chat.
