Problems unstuffing For users having trouble unstuffing the Safari 1.0 Beta 2 (v73) package available from http://www.apple.com/safari instead of through Software Update, trying renaming the downloaded file from .hqx to .dmg and let Disk Utility do the job.

Tabbed browsing distortions Several users are reporting page garbling or incorrect rendering when using the tabs functionality introduced to the public in v73. William Howard writes:

"Downloaded and updated the new Safari from Software Update panel without a problem, but using the tabbed interface is definitely a problem. Some sites are showing up as either super zoomed in or the text is displayed as super large while in tabs, but show up normal if they?re the only pages loaded."
