Installing Eudora 4.3.2 Regarding yesterday's report of problems with updating to Eudora Pro 4.3.2 in Paid mode, Paul Ripley offers this suggestion: "If you insert your original Eudora 4.x installer CD before starting the updater application, the Updater will automatically install the 4.3.2 version and give you a new registration number. There's no need to actually install the original 4.x application." Matt Neuburg confirms that installing the update assigns a new registration number. Eudora and Iceland For those of you living in Iceland, Finnur Bardarson notes: "Eudora 4.3.2 can not handle special Icelandic characters. This has been a problem since the release of Eudora 4.3. This is not a problem with earlier versions of Eudora." Update; Edward Wu adds: "I definitely second that and would add that it seems like Eudora can't handle any 2-bit language emails (such as Chinese or Japanese). The worst part is Eudora will mangle the email and basically replace all the foreign language parts with question marks."
