Troubleshooting Comcast e-mail accounts: Deleting mail from the Web interface
We previously noted trouble sending e-mail through Comcast's SMTP servers (part 1, part 2), but have since received a number of reports detailing problems retrieving mail.
Now some users have reported that the problem is a corrupted message; one solution seems to be to log onto the Comcast Web site and go to the Web mail interface, then deleted (after reading, of course) all the mail on the server. After doing this, everything worked fine again.
