Problems synching Palms MacFixIt reader Darryl Adams reports problems synchronizing his Palm Tungsten T2 after using the Bluetooth 1.5 updater: "Following installation of Bluetooth 1.5 update via the Software Update, I can no longer sync my Palm Tungsten T2 using my Bluetooth DBT-120 adapter. I have an iBook with OS X 10.3.2. It gives the error message that a connection could not be made although the PDA and the iBook see each other. I downloaded the 1.5 update and installed it again to no avail."

Complete loss of Bluetooth functionality Michael Flanagan writes "I have an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and D-Link Bluetooth USB adapter (DBT-120) that I've been using for a month since I got it for Christmas. It's been working wonderful on my Dual USB 800MHz G3 iBook the whole time. I followed the directions in the support document. The firmware update appeared to be successful. After I rebooted though, I could no longer use my Bluetooth keyboard. The message in the Bluetooth drop-down in the system task-bar now reports that "Bluetooth: Not Available" If I try and re-run the update as it suggests in the support document, the updater reports that "This computer does not have an Apple Bluetooth module installed. It cannot be upgraded by this application"

If you have complete loss of Bluetooth functionality after applying the 1.5 update, you may want to try reinstalling from the standalone download available from Apple's Web site.

Improvements Some readers are reporting that they are now able to address a number of new wireless devices after the 1.5 update, including Microsoft's Bluetooth mouse.
