That statement would have been a fitting query for one contestant in the recent Jeopardy College Tournament.

According to the Thousand Robots blog, the player, a computer science major from Carnegie Mellon University, offered a bet of $1,337 at the game's end. In leetspeak, the adolescent language of the online world, 1337 spells "leet," or "elite."

While Alex Trebek didn't get it, the student, also the day's winner, was just giving a shout-out to his online friends.
