Toyota's freshly unveiled FCV Plus concept car has some huge ideas behind it: the hydrogen-powered car would, in theory, provide zero-pollution energy for itself...but it would also have the ability to give any remaining power to your home at the end of the day. Toyota imagines a world where FCV Plus cars could help power large buildings, homes, and other structures and objects, but those loft ideals would require a major overhaul of our energy infrastructure to support widespread hydrogen power.

Google's Project Tango is still in its earlier stages, but developer kits are available and out there, which is why Google held an app contest for Project Tango to reward interesting ideas for its mobile mapping experiment. The top prize went to HeroicArcade and its WeR Cubed Tango app (a puzzle game), and runners-up included DotProduct's Phi3D for Tango and InnAR Wars by FLARB.

Lastly, we're taking a quick look at Linkki, a deceptively simple-looking toy that aims to teach kids about kinetic design. The kit includes various bars and shapes for kids to make two-dimensional mechanisms. Its creator, Eunyoung Park, thinks Linkki offers an easy entry level to STEM-focused concepts, and even though it's a prototype, we're excited about its goals.
