Tommy Hilfiger dons IBM servers
Clothing designer Tommy Hilfiger has selected IBM xSeries Intel and iSeries special-purpose servers to run a Web site that joins Tommy Hilfiger with its sales partners, IBM said Wednesday. The site has features to view inventory and place and track orders. The company also selected IBM's DB2 database and Java software, along with eOne Group's Web site software. The companies declined to state how much the equipment cost.
