Tip of the day: Getting Web Quick going again

CNET staff
Recently, Web Quick stopped working for me. Its icon appeared in the menubar and its menu dropped down. But if I selected anything from the menu, nothing happened. A call to Europa suggested that the problem can occur if you change your browser (such as from Navigator to Explorer) or if you have more than one browser on your drive. The solution is to go to Web Quick's Preferences window (the command is "hidden" at the very bottom of Web Quick's menu, farther than I typically scroll down; so I never noticed it). From the Preferences window, select the browser you intend to use. I tried it; it worked!
