Could you pick one song to define yourself? Now, Tinder lets you do just that.

Tinder

Now you don't have to wonder if swiping right will accidentally land you a date with a Nickelback fan.

Tinder, the dating app that has reduced romance to simple gestures, will let you connect your Spotify account to your profile, the company said Tuesday. That means Tinderers have something else to consider while swiping, aside from just how bad that shirtless bathroom selfie is.

You can show off top music, play previews of songs off your prospective date's profile and see which artists you have in common.

Both dig Nirvana? Must be love.

In addition, Tinder lets you add an anthem to your profile. That's a single track that tells fellow daters everything they need to know about you. Allow us to suggest that Rihanna song about finding love in a hopeless place. Maybe "Party Hard" is more your vibe.

Your call.

Tinder's not the first dating service to integrate with Spotify, a music subscription service that has more than 40 million paying members. Bumble, an app that gives women the first move, also lets users display top artists based on streams. Tastebuds.fm is built around common musical tastes.

The feature will be available in all 59 markets where Spotify is available.

So there's no excuse for dating a Nickelback fan again.
