There are four new TIL articles on iTunes 1.1.1:

    75118: About iTunes for Mac OS X states: "If you have previously installed iTunes for Mac OS X, delete the old version before installing the new one. If you put iTunes in your Dock, remove the iTunes icon from the Dock, then add it again after you install the new version."

    60841: iTunes for Mac OS X: Set Sleep to Never When Burning Audio CDs states: "Your computer may stop responding and iTunes will fail to successfully burn an audio CD if the computer or display goes to sleep."

    60842: iTunes 1.1.1 for Mac OS X: USB CD-RW Drives Should Be Set to 2x states: "You should set your USB CD-RW drive to 2x burn speed when you make an audio CD with iTunes 1.1.1 for Mac OS X."

    60843: iTunes 1.1.1 for Mac OS X: Click Burn Before Inserting Blank Discs states: "When you insert a blank CD, an alert box appears with a message that asks if you to continue, eject, or initialize the volume (disc). To avoid this message, click Burn before inserting a blank disc. If you can't eject a blank CD after you've inserted it, try clicking the eject button in iTunes."

There are three new TIL articles on Mac OS X 10.0.2:

    75134: Mac OS X 10.0.2 Update Information and Software contains the Mac OS X 10.0.2 Update document and a link to the Mac OS X 10.0.2 Update software.

    106293: Mac OS X 10.0: 10.0.2 Update and Before You Install Information provides more details about what is new in the update. This includes (beyond the disc burning): Improved compatibility with third-party USB and FireWire devices; Classic environment refinements; Enriched compatibility with AFP (AppleTalk/AppleShare) volumes. Enhanced optimization process; Improved reliability of PPP connections on certain computers; Refined performance of certain file and folder types in the Finder; Enriched recognition of display resolution choices; Enhancements to the Mail application; Heightened functionality of the Login window; Refined audio performance on certain computers; Improved performance of ColorSync with certain printers; Favorites are now easier to use; Enriched functionality of the Connect To command; Enhanced performance when connecting to certain types of servers; Refined compatibility with displays that are connected to certain types of ATI display cards.

    106176: Mac OS X: About This Mac "Build" Information describes the relationship between Mac OS X version numbers and build numbers.

Finally, there are two new articles about the new Dual USB iBooks and Mac OS X:

    88122: iBook (Dual USB): Eject Key Does Not Work With Mac OS X 10.0.1 notes: "The iBook (Dual USB) eject key (the F12 key on the keyboard) does not eject the CD tray if it is empty." Mac OS X 10.0.2 fixes this.

    88123: iBook (Dual USB): Mac OS X May Not Recognize External Monitor notes: "After connecting a monitor to the RGB video-out port of an iBook (Dual USB) computer running Mac OS X, the iBook may not recognize the monitor." Once again, the solution is to update to Mac OS X 10.0.2.
