Tiaris receives $9.5 million

Semiconductor company Tiaris announced on Monday it received a $9.5 million first round of funding. Kodiak Venture Partners and Giza Venture Capital led the round. Cedar Fund also participated in the funding. Concord, Mass.-based Tiaris designs and markets chips to transmit video, data and voice over home networks. See complete list.
