Three-deal Thursday: $139 Kindle Fire and more!

Sounds too good to be true, but it's real. It's refurbished, but you get a one-year warranty, same as on new Fires.

No hilarious jokes or personal anecdotes today. This is time-sensitive, so I'll cut right to the chase.

Today only, and while supplies last, Amazon has the refurbished Kindle Fire tablet for $139 shipped.

I'm reluctant to even post that deal, because I suspect it'll sell out before the morning is over -- heck, before I finish typing this paragraph. That's an insanely good deal on one of the best 7-inch tablets to date.

Update: Well, kudos to Amazon for having enough inventory to last most of the day...but as I expected, the refurbished Fires are sold out. Glad so many of you were able to grab one!

Amazon's refurbs come with a full one-year warranty, same as new. I've just spent the last couple days poking and prodding a Fire (that sounds weird, doesn't it?), and I really like it. It's on the heavy side, and I miss having an expansion slot, but for $139, I can deal. Grab this ridiculously awesome bargain before it's gone. Seriously.

Speaking of awesome, I continue to be a big fan of the Ceton InfiniTV 4 USB CableCard adapter , which adds four HD tuners to your Windows Media Center PC.

It was $199 when I wrote about it last month, but today only, Newegg has the Ceton InfiniTV 4 USB for $169.99 shipped. That's after applying coupon code EMCYTZT1370 at checkout. To put this in some perspective, ATI used to charge $400 for its bulky, crummy, single-tuner CableCard gizmo.

Finally, some storage goodness: Abe's of Maine has a Transcend 8GB SDHC card for $4.99 shipped. This is a Class 4 card; you can get a faster Class 10 version for $7.99 shipped.

That's it, cheeps! Let me know if you scored a Kindle Fire -- or if you think even $139 isn't low enough.
